BOARD 5

No.183 is a Spanish nail at 5½" long purchased in Barcelona; the head is in the shape of a four leaf clover, the underside is very ornately decorated.

No.214 is a card with sprigs and nails from The Bishops Camera, Farnham c1350.

Nos 223 & 226 are American ceramic head nails, used for hanging picture frames; the nail would have been driven in and the head either screwed on, or slid on from the side (see subsequent pages).
